Cat Sketches - Blending Experimentation

I read about the use of blending in pencil sketches to produce very nice transitions in tones. Quite happy with the outcomes after my first two experiments. However the features on both cats are not as accurate as they should be because I was not too concerned about the facial placements during the drafting phase. When I completed them then I thought... I should have.
